My Approach

The beautiful thing about therapy is this: people change and heal in the context of relationships of empathy and support.

I care deeply about the pain and search for meaning in your life and will boldly partner with you as you face your story, experiences, and suffering with courage. I will listen to you well, respect what you have lived, and offer insight and support to help you move forward. I approach therapy from an narrative perspective, which means I believe paying attention to the storyline of what we have lived is essential to reimagining a better way forward. I also draw strongly from the field of interpersonal neurobiology, which helps us understand and engage the power of relationships as a force for healing and wholeness.

I currently provide video-based counseling services for individuals and couples who are Colorado residents. I see clients with a wide range of mental health and spiritual concerns and additionally specialize in working with individuals with chronic illnesses (such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, chronic pain, or other long-term health challenges).

Choosing to begin therapy is choosing to give yourself a supportive relationship where you can experience the kind of empathy that heals.
